The MP6543GL is a three-phase brushless DC motor driver. It integrates three half-bridges consisting of six N-channel power MOSFETs, as well as a pre-driver, gate drive power supply, and current-sense amplifier. With ENABLE and PWM inputs, it has separate HV-side and LV-side inputs and is capable of delivering up to 2A continuously (depending on thermal and PCB) overcurrent protection thresholds. It uses an internal charge pump to generate the gate drive supply voltage for the high-side MOSFET and a trickle charge circuit to maintain sufficient gate drive voltage to operate at 100% duty cycle.
