The TPS92518QPWPRQ1 devices are dual-channel step-down LED current controllers with an SPI communication interface. The serial communication interface provides a single communication path for multi-channel and platform lighting driver module (LDM) applications.

The TPS92518QPWPRQ1 uses a quasi-hysteresis control method that supports switching frequencies from 1 kHz to 2 MHz. This control method enables excellent high-frequency parallel FET dimming and also handles the demanding dynamic loads of headlight systems based on adaptive LED matrices.
