The HMC557ALC4TR is a general-purpose double-balanced mixer packaged in a RoHS-compliant 24-pin ceramic lead-free chip carrier. The device can be used as an upconverter or downconverter in the frequency range from 2.5 GHz to 7.0 GHz. The mixer is manufactured using a gallium arsenide (GaAs) metal-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MESFET) process and requires no external components or matching circuits.
