The TCAN1043DMTRQ1 meets the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2 (2016) High-Speed Controller Area Network (CAN) specification and provides an interface between the CAN bus and the CAN protocol controller. These devices support both legacy CAN and CAN FD protocols with data rates up to 2Mbps. Devices with part numbers ending in "G" are designed for CAN FD applications with data rates up to 5Mbps. Various power supplies that may be present on the node can be selectively enabled (via the INH output pin) to reduce battery current consumption at the system level.
