The TLIN2021DRQ1 is a physical layer transceiver for the Local Interconnect Network (LIN), a low-speed Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) communication protocol that supports automotive in-vehicle networks. The transmitter supports data rates up to 20kbps and the receiver supports data rates up to 100kbps for faster offline programming. The LIN bus state is controlled via the TXD pin and the bus state is reported via its open-drain RXD output pin. The device features a current-limited waveform driver for electromagnetic emission (EME) reduction.
