The STM32H742VGT6 STM32H7 High-performance MCU is based on a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC kernel, operating at frequencies up to 400MHz. The Cortex-M7 kernel has floating-point unit (FPU) precision and supports both Arm double precision (compliant with IEEE 754 standard) and single precision data processing instructions and data types. STM32H7 MCU supports a full set of DSP instructions and memory protection units (MPUs), which can enhance the security of applications.

The device features three ADCs, two DCS, two ultra-low power comparators, one low-power RTC, one high-resolution timer, 12 general-purpose 16-bit timers, two PWM timers for motor control, five low-power timers, and a true random number generator (RNG). The device supports four digital filters for external delta-Sigma modulators (DFSDM) and has both standard and advanced communication interfaces.
