The RTS5441S-GR is an advanced Type-C power output controller that integrates all Type-C related hardware and firmware. The hardware integrates configuration channel (CC) logic, including bus voltage detectors, RP/RD resistors, and internal power switches with overcurrent protection to provide VCONN 5V. The RTS5441S also incorporates a 4 to 2 channel multiplexing switch with low insertion loss and return loss. The multiplex switch has a bandwidth of more than 10Gbps and can be used for Type-C plug flip operation. The RTS5441S also incorporates a 5 to 3.3V LDO regulator and an internal oscillator.
