The RTS5444V is an advanced Type-C controller designed for source port applications. It supports USB Type-C specification version 1.3 and integrates configuration channel (CC) logic, VCONN power switches, VBUS power switches, 5V to 3.3V LDO regulators, and internal oscillators into a single chip.

The RTS5444V also incorporates an ultra-low RDS (on) distribution switch. The VBUS power switch supports power capacity up to 5V/3A and has a variety of protection features to protect the power supply from overcurrent, hard short circuit, overtemperature, overvoltage and reverse current fault conditions.
