The MCP3422A6-E/MS is a low-noise, high-precision 18-bit delta-sigma analogue-to-digital converter (ΔΣ A/D). The device converts analogue inputs to digital code with up to 18-bit resolution. The on-board 2.048V reference enables an input range of ± 2.048V (full scale range = 4.096V/P. The device can output analogue-to-digital conversion results at sample rates of 3.75, 15, 60 or 240 samples per second. The unit automatically calibrates offset and gain errors during each conversion. This allows the power supply to fluctuate in the face of temperature and power variations.
