The LTC9101AUF-2A is a (up to) 48-port Power Supply device (PSE) controller for Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems compatible with IEEE 802.3at Classes 1 and 2. The LTC9101-2A is designed to power compatible 802.3af and 802.3at PD models. The LTC9101-2A/LTC9102 chipset features low RDS (ON) external MOSFETs and 0.1Ω detection resistance per power channel for excellent thermal performance. The transformer-isolated communication protocol replaces expensive optical couplers and complex 3.3V isolated power supplies for significant savings in BOM costs.
