The BQ76PL455ATPFCRQ1 16-cell battery monitor is a battery monitoring and protection device designed to meet the needs of high reliability automotive applications. With an integrated high-speed, differential, capacitively isolated communication interface, up to sixteen BQ76PL455ATPFCRQ1 devices are allowed to communicate with the host computer. The BQ76PL455ATPFCRQ1 monitors and detects a number of different fault conditions including overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat and communication faults. Six GPIO ports and eight analogue AUX ADC inputs are included for additional monitoring and programmable functions. An auxiliary thermal shutdown function is also available to further enhance protection for itself. The device is certified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications.
