The VL53L1CBV0FY/1 time-of-flight (ToF) range sensor is a state-of-the-art laser range sensor that further enriches the ST FlightSense™ family. The long range miniature ToF sensor has a range accuracy of up to 4 metres and a frequency of up to 50 Hz. The sensor is available in a miniature reflowable package. The sensor integrates an SPAD receiver array, a 940nm stealth Class 1 laser transmitter, a physical infrared filter and optics to optimise range performance. The sensor uses ST's next-generation ToF technology for absolute distance measurement regardless of target colour and reflection. It also adjusts the size of the ROI on the receiver array to reduce the sensor field of view (FoV).
