The VL53L5CXV0GC/1 multi-area time-of-flight sensor is available in a mini-reflowable package with an integrated SPAD array, physical IR filter and diffuse optical element (DOE). Provides multi-area distance measurement with up to 8x8 real-time native areas and a 63° wide diagonal field of view. Each of the sensor's zones measures distance to the target at distances of up to 4 metres, with a maximum frequency of 60Hz. uses ST 's patented histogram algorithm to detect multiple objects within the FoV and ensures suppression of crosstalk beyond the 60cm glass enclosure.
