The MAXM17536ALY switching regulator is an easy-to-use step-down power supply module.The MAXM17536ALY regulator combines a switching power controller, dual N-channel MOSFET power switches, and a fully shielded inductor in a highly efficient, heat-sinkable SiP package. The switching regulators operate over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 60V and provide continuous output currents up to 4A. The MAXM17536ALY regulators can operate in a variety of control methods such as pulse-width modulation (PWM), pulse frequency modulation (PFM), or discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). Typical applications include test and measurement equipment, distributed power conditioning, FPGA and DSP point-of-load conditioning, HVAC and building control systems.
