The SPC584Cx microcontroller is the first of a new family of devices replacing the SPC564Cx family. The SPC584Cx builds on the SPC564Cx family while introducing new features, coupled with higher throughput, resulting in a significant reduction in cost per feature and a significant increase in power and performance (MIPS per milliwatt). On the SPC584Cx devices, there are two processor cores, the e200z420, and an e200z0 core with an embedded hardware security module.
