The MAX96711GTJ/V 14-bit GMSL serialiser is a compact serialiser with features especially suited for automotive camera applications. In high-bandwidth mode, the maximum parallel clock value for 12-bit linear or combined HDR data types is 116MHz. The line fault circuit detects open/short faults on the link cable. The embedded control channel operates at 9.6kbps to 1Mbps in UART, I2C, and hybrid UART/I2C modes, allowing programming of serialisers, deserialisers, and camera registers that are not constrained by the video clock.
