The TIOL1123LYAHR transceiver uses the IO-Link interface to implement industrial bi-directional point-to-point communications. When connected to an IO-Link master via a three-wire interface, the master initiates communication and exchanges data with the remote node, while the TIOL112(x) serves as a complete physical layer for communication. These devices are capable of withstanding IEC 61000-4-5 surges up to 1.2kV (500Ω) and have integrated reverse polarity protection. They can be easily connected to controller circuits via a simple pin-programmable interface.
