The LMX2582 is a low-noise broadband RF PLL with integrated VCO supporting a frequency range of 20MHz to 5.5GHz. The device supports both fractional N and integer N modes and has a 32-bit fractional divider to support selection of the appropriate frequency. The integration noise is 47fs (for 1.8GHz output), making it an ideal low noise source. The device incorporates first class PLL and VCO integration noise with an integrated low voltage linear regulator (LDO), eliminating the need for multiple discrete components in high performance systems.
