The DS90UB662WRTDRQ1 is a multi-function sensor hub that collects serial sensor data received from four separate video data streams via the FPD-Link III interface. When paired with the DS90UB633A-Q1 or DS90UB63x Serialiser, the DS90UB662-Q1 receives data from a one-megapixel image sensor that supports 720p/800p/960p/1MP resolutions at 30Hz or 60Hz frame rates. Received data is aggregated to MIPI CSI-2 compliant outputs that are interconnected to a downstream processor.

Four FPD-Link III deserialisers are included, each supporting connections via cost-effective 50Ω single-ended coaxial or 100Ω differential STP cables. The receiver equaliser automatically adapts to compensate for cable loss characteristics, including degradation over time.

Each FPD-Link III interface also includes a separate low-latency bi-directional control channel that continuously transmits I2C, GPIO and other control information. General-purpose I/O signals, such as those required for camera synchronisation and diagnostic features, can also make use of this bi-directional control channel.

The DS90UB662WRTDRQ1 complies with AEC-Q100 for automotive applications and is available in a cost-effective, space-saving 64-pin VQFN package.
