The DS90UB941ASRTDRQ1 is a dual DSI to FPD-Link III bridge serialiser designed for automotive infotainment applications. When used with the FPD-Link III DS90UB940N-Q1, DS90UB948-Q1, DS90UB924-Q1, DS90UB926Q-Q1, or DS90UB928Q-Q1 deserialiser, it provides a single or dual channel DSI to FPD-Link III bridge serialiser over a cost-effective 50 Ω single-ended coaxial cable, or a 100 Ω differential Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) and Shielded Quadruplex (STQ) cable. twisted pair (STP) and shielded four-way (STQ) cables to provide single- or dual-channel high-speed serial streams. Symmetrical and asymmetrical separation can be supported to cope with the increasing number and diversity of displays in infotainment systems.

The DS90UB941ASRTDRQ1 can consolidate video data on two differential pairs to simplify system design and reduce the size and weight of interconnecting cables for applications.

The FPD-Link III interface supports video and audio data transfer and full-duplex control, including I2C communications and up to eight I2S audio channels on the same high-speed serial link. EMI is minimised through the use of low-voltage differential signalling, data permutation and random generation.
