The MAX98388EWE is a cost-effective, small mono digital input amplifier with integrated IV feedback. The kit operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.3V to 10V. With this supply voltage range, both versions support single-cell, dual-cell, and externally regulated/boosted portable applications.The MAX98388EWE is optimised for applications up to 5.5 V (single-cell).The Class D playback amplifier combines Class AB audio performance with high efficiency, helping to prolong battery life in portable applications. Active emission limiting (AEL) and edge rate limiting circuits combined with a spread spectrum modulation (SSM) scheme reduce EMI and eliminate the need for output filtering required by traditional Class D amplifiers.
