The TAS2780RYAR is a mono, digital-input Class D audio amplifier optimised for efficiently driving high peak power to loudspeakers.The Class D amplifier delivers 25W of continuous power to a 4Ω load with less than 1% THD+N from an 18V supply voltage. The wide input voltage range and high output power give the amplifier excellent versatility for use with battery or line-powered systems. It can be used as a conventional amplifier or with host-based speaker protection algorithms. Integrated speaker voltage and current detection provides real-time feedback of speaker conditions to the protection algorithm via the I 2S return path.
