The ILPS22QSTR is an ultra-compact piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor for use as a digital output barometer. It features a digital output barometer and supports dual full-scale ranges up to a user-selectable 4060 hPa. The device has ultra-low pressure noise, very low power consumption, and a long operating temperature range of -40 °C to +105 °C. The ILPS22QSTR consists of a sensing element and an IC interface that communicates via I²C, M²C, and M²C. A 1.2 V digital interface is also supported. The sensing element, which detects absolute pressure, consists of a suspended membrane and is manufactured using a special process developed by STMicroelectronics.
