The LPS22HBTR is an ultra-compact piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor for use as a digital output barometer. The device consists of a sensing element and an integrated circuit interface that communicates with the sensing element and the application via I2C or SPI. The sensing element for detecting the absolute pressure consists of a suspended membrane, using a suspended membrane manufactured by STMicroelectronics.
