Product Description

The MCP970x Linear active Thermistor ics are a family of low-cost, low-power analog temperature sensors that convert temperature to analog voltage. Unlike resistance sensors such as thermistors, linear active thermistor ics do not require additional signal conditioning circuitry. Thus, by implementing a sensor from these low-cost devices, the bias circuit development overhead of a thermistor solution can be avoided. The VOUT pin connects directly to the ADC input of the microcontroller.
