The DRV8702DQRHBRQ1 is a small half-bridge gate driver that uses two external N-channel MOSFETs designed to drive unidirectional brush DC motors or solenoid loads. The PWM interface allows easy connection to the controller circuitry. An internal sense amplifier provides adjustable current control. An integrated charge pump provides 100% duty cycle support and can be used to drive an external reverse battery switch. Independent half-bridge mode supports half-bridge sharing, enabling cost-effective sequential control of multiple DC motors. The gate driver has built-in circuitry to regulate the winding current using a PWM current chopper with a fixed turn-off time.
