The DRV8706HQRHBRQ1 is a highly integrated H-bridge gate driver capable of driving both high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs, generating the appropriate gate drive voltage using an integrated multiplier charge pump (for high-side) and linear regulator (for low-side). The device reduces system cost and improves reliability by using an intelligent gate drive architecture. The gate driver optimises dead time to avoid breakdown problems, controls for EMI reduction with adjustable gate drive current, and prevents drain-source and gate shorts with VDS and VGS monitors.
