The LM62440ALPQRJRRQ1 is a high performance DC-DC synchronous step-down device, high performance DC-DC synchronous step-down converter focused on automotive applications. The LM62440ALPQRJRRQ1 is an automotive-focused, high-performance DC-DC synchronous step-down converter with integrated high-side and low-side output currents of up to 4 A. It delivers up to 4 A of output current over a wide 3.0 V to 36 V input range. Tolerance support lasts up to 400 ms. The LM62440-Q1 implements power-down soft recovery to eliminate overshoot. The LM62440ALPQRJRRQ1 is specifically designed to minimise electromagnetic interference. The device integrates a pseudo-random spread spectrum adjustable SW node rise time, a low EMIVQFN-HR package featuring low switch node ringing, and an optimised pin layout for ease of use. The switching frequency can be synchronised between 200 kHz and 2.2 MHz to avoid noise-sensitive frequency bands. A 2.1-MHz or 400-kHz frequency factory option is also available to increase efficiency at low operating frequencies.
