The LMR36503RS5QRPERQ1 is the industry's smallest 65 V, 0.3 A synchronous step-down DC/DC converter in a 2 mm x 2 mm HotRod™ package. This easy-to-use converter handles transient input voltages up to 70 V with excellent EMI performance and supports fixed 3.3 V, 5 V, and other adjustable output voltages.The LMR36503RS5QRPERQ1 features a peak current-mode control architecture with internal compensation and maintains a stable output voltage for stable operation with minimal output capacitance. The LMR36503RS5QRPERQ1's wide input operating range Q1 maintains normal operation during deep input voltage dips. The ability to remain operational during voltage dips makes it suitable for automotive applications that can withstand severe cold cranking start pulses. Seamless conversion from FPWM to PFM and ultra-low standby quiescent current enable the LMR36503RS5QRPERQ1 to support higher system efficiency at low output loads.
