The TLE8366EV33 is a PWM step-down DC/DC converter with a built-in 1.8 A power switch, packaged in a small PG-DSO-8 with exposed pads. Three versions are available, two fixed voltage versions at 5.0 V, 3.3 V, and a variable voltage version called the TLE8366EV33 with a reference feedback voltage of only 600 mV. A wide input voltage range of 4.75 to 45 V makes the TLE8366EV33 suitable for a variety of applications. The device is designed for use in harsh automotive environments. The switching frequency, rated at 370 kHz, allows the use of small, economical inductors and capacitors, resulting in low and predictable output ripple and minimal board space.
