The MAX20419ATGE/V is a high efficiency, 3-output, low-voltage DC-DC converter IC. OUT1 boosts the input supply to 5V while two synchronous buck converters operate over a 3.0V to 5.5V input voltage range, providing a 0.8V to 3.8V voltage range and output currents up to 3.6A. The boost converters have an output voltage range of ±1.9%. The converter achieves an output error of ±1.4% over the load, line, and temperature ranges. The IC uses a 2.2MHz fixed frequency pulse width modulation (PWM) mode for better noise immunity and load transient response. 2.2MHz fixed frequency PWM mode allows for better noise immunity and load transient response, while pulse frequency modulation mode (frequency hopping) improves efficiency in light load operation. 2.2MHz frequency operation allows for the use of all-ceramic capacitors and minimises the need to use a full range of capacitors. 2.2MHz frequency operation allows the use of all-ceramic capacitors and minimises external components. Programmable spread spectrum frequency modulation minimises radiated electromagnetic emissions.
