The ISO7762FDBQR devices are high-performance six-channel digital isolators providing a 3000VRMS isolation rating (DBQ package) compliant with UL 1577. This series is also certified to VDE, CSA, TUV and CQC standards.
While isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O, the ISO776x series devices also deliver high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions, coupled with low power consumption. Each isolated channel features logic input and logic output buffers separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulated gate. Devices in the ISO776x series are available in all possible pin configurations, enabling all six channels to be in the same direction, or one, two, or three channels to be in reverse while the remaining channels are in forward direction. If the input power or signal is lost, devices without the suffix “F” default to a high output level, while those with the suffix “F” default to a low output level. The ISO7762FDBQR device, when used with an isolated power supply, helps prevent noise currents from data buses (such as RS-485, RS-232, and CAN) or other circuits from entering the local ground, thereby avoiding interference with or damage to sensitive circuits. Through innovative chip design and layout techniques, the ISO776x series exhibits significantly enhanced electromagnetic compatibility, mitigating system-level ESD, EFT, and surge issues while meeting radiated standards. The ISO7762FDBQR is available in a 16-pin SSOP package.
