LTM8052EY (μModule Buck Regulator): 36VIN, 5A, Two-Quadrant CVCC Buck-Type μModule Regulator — Absorbs and Provides Output Current Primarily for Voltage Regulation

The LTM8052EY is a 36VIN, 5A, two-quadrant constant voltage, constant current (CVCC) buck μModule® regulator. The package integrates a switch controller, power switch, inductor, and supporting components. The LTM8052EY is available in a compact (11.25mm x 15mm x 2.82mm) moulded resin leaded grid array (LGA) and ball grid array (BGA) packages, suitable for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment.

The LTM8052EY operates within an input voltage range of 6V to 36V and supports an output voltage range of 1.2V to 24V. The LTM8052EY can sink or source current to maintain voltage regulation within positive and negative current limits. The output current limit can be set by a control voltage, a single resistor, or a thermistor.
