The RG5R256A1C0GBY (2nd generation RCD) is a hosted clock driver for DDR5 RDIMM, LRDIMM, and NVDIMM, supporting up to 5600 MT/s rates in server applications. Its main function is to buffer the command address (CA) bus, chip selection and clock signals between the main controller and DRAM. In addition, the RG5R256A1C0GBY also supports the BCOM bus to control the data buffering of LRDIMM.
