The SN75LVPE5412RUAR is a four-channel linear transceiver driver with an integrated multi-signal separator. This low-power, high-performance linear transceiver driver is specifically designed to support PCIe 5.0 and other interfaces with data rates up to 32 Gbps.
The SN75LVPE5412RUAR receiver incorporates a continuous-time linear equaliser (CTLE) to provide high-frequency enhancement. The equaliser can open the input eye diagram that is completely closed due to intersymbol interference (ISI) caused by interconnect media such as PCB routing or cables. During PCIe link training, the linear transceiver driver, along with the passive channel between the root complex (RC) and endpoint (EP), is trained as a whole to achieve optimal transmit and receive equalisation settings, thereby enabling an excellent electrical link. The device features low channel-to-channel crosstalk, low added jitter, and extremely low return loss, making it nearly passive in the link. This device incorporates an internal linear regulator with high immunity to board-level power noise, providing a clean power supply for high-speed data paths.
The SN75LVPE5412RUAR undergoes high-speed testing during mass production to ensure reliable high-volume manufacturing. This device also features low AC and DC gain variation, delivering consistent equalisation performance across various deployment platforms.
