The LTC6813ILWE-1 is a multi-cell battery pack monitor that can measure the voltage of up to 18 series-connected batteries and has a total measurement error of less than 2.2mV. The battery measurement range from 0V to 5V makes the LTC6813ILWE-1 a suitable choice for most battery chemical compositions. All 18 batteries can complete the measurement within 290μs, and a lower data acquisition rate can be selected to achieve high noise suppression.

The LTC6813ILWE-1 can be powered directly from a battery pack or an isolated power supply. The LTC6813ILWE-1 features passive charge balance for each battery and individual PWM duty cycle control for each battery. Other features include A built-in 5V voltage regulator, 9 universal I/O wires and a sleep mode (in which current consumption is reduced to 6μA).
