The TLV320AIC3104IRHBR is a low-power stereo audio codec with a stereo headphone amplifier and multiple inputs and outputs programmable in single-ended or fully differential configurations. The device includes comprehensive register-based power control, enables stereo 48kHz DAC playback and consumes as low as 14mW at 3.3 V analog supply voltage, making it ideal for portable battery-powered audio and telephony applications.

The recording path of the TLV320AIC3104IRHBR includes integrated microphone bias, CNC stereo microphone preamplifier and automatic gain control (AGC), and provides mixer/multiplexer functionality in multiple analog inputs. During recording, the programmable filter is capable of filtering out audible noise that may be generated during optical zooming of the digital camera. The playback path includes mixer/multiplexer function (from the stereo DAC and selected inputs, through programmable volume control to various outputs).
