The bq7965x-Q1 battery monitor, balancer, and hardware protector provide high precision battery voltage measurements for 6 to 16 battery modules in 200µs. bq79652-Q1 (12S), bq79654-Q1 (14S) or bq79656-Q1 (16S) also support shunt resistance current detection and measurement. The integrated front-end filter enables the system to implement simple low-voltage rated, differential RC filters on the battery input channel. The integrated back-end ADC low-pass filter realizes filtering and DC voltage measurement. The bq7965X-Q1 also supports integrated current detection, which optionally synchronizes with battery voltage measurements for better state of charge (SOC) calculations. The device supports autonomous internal battery balance and has temperature monitoring function, which can automatically pause and restore balance to avoid overheating.
