The ADV7280KCPZ is a feature rich single chip, multi-format video decoder. The device automatically detects standard analog baseband video signals and is compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM global standard signals in composite, S-video and component video forms.

The ADV7280KCPZ converts analog video signals into 4:2:2 component video data streams and is compatible with the 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 interface standard. The ADV7280-M converts analog video signals into output video streams compatible with Mobile Industrial Processor Interface (MIPI®) CSI-2 (8-bit YUV).

The ADV7280KCPZ has the following features:

Supports global NTSC/PAL/SECAM color demodulation

A 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 4x oversampling per channel for CVBS, Y/C, and YPrPb modes

Analog video input channel with integrated anti-aliasing filter

ADV7280: has a maximum of four input channels

ADV7280-M: has a maximum of eight input channels

Video input supports CVBS (composite), Y/C (S video), and YPrPb (component)

NTSC/PAL/SECAM automatic detection

Common mode input range solutions up to 1.47V

Excellent common mode noise suppression

5-wire adaptive 2D comb filter and CTI/DNR video enhancement feature

Adaptive Digital Line Length tracking (ADLLT), signal processing, and enhanced FIFO management provide Mini time base correction (TBC) capabilities
