The AD9837BCPZ is a low-power, programmable waveform generator capable of producing sine, triangular and square wave outputs. The AD9837 writes data through a 3-wire serial interface. The serial interface is capable of operating at a clock rate of up to 40 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller standards. The device is powered by a 2.3V to 5.5V power supply.

The AD9837BCPZ has a SLEEP function. Unused parts of the device can be turned off to reduce power consumption to a low level. For example, the DAC can be turned off when producing clock output.

The AD9837BCPZ has the following key features
