The AMIC110BZCZA microprocessor is the ideal companion communication chip for the C2000 series of microcontrollers connected 

to the drive.The PRU-ICSS is separate from the ARM core, allowing independent operation and clocking for increased efficiency and 

flexibility.The PRU-ICSS supports additional peripheral interfaces and real-time protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET IRT,EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, Ethernet Powerlink, Sercos III, and more.

The AMIC110BZCZA is based on the ARM Cortex-A8 processor, peripherals and industrial interface options. 

The device supports the High-Level Operating System (HLOS).In addition, the programmable nature of the PRU-ICSS, along with access to pins, events, and all System-on-Chip (SoC) resources, provides the opportunity to implement fast, real-time responses, specialised data processing operations, custom peripheral data processing operations, custom peripheral interfaces, and offloading of tasks from other processor cores in the SoC.
