The TJA1448BTK/0Z is a member of the TJA144x family of transceivers that provide an interface between Controller Area Network (CAN) or CAN FD (Flexible Data Rate) protocol controllers and the physical two-wire CAN bus.The TJA144x transceiver implements ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 through SAE J2284-5 in the defined CAN physical layer and is fully interoperable with high-speed classic CAN and CAN FD transceivers. All TJA144x variants are able to communicate reliably at data rates of up to 5 Mbit/s in the CAN FD fast phase.
The TJA1448 is a simple replacement for dual high-speed classic CAN and CAN FD transceivers, such as NXP's TJA1059. it is pin-compatible and designed to avoid hardware and software design changes, allowing the TJA1448 to be easily retrofitted into existing applications.
The TJA1448 is an AEC-Q100 Grade 0 variant for high-temperature applications, supporting operation at 150 °C ambient temperature.
