The TCAN1146DRQ1 is a family of enhanced high-speed CAN FD transceivers that support data rates up to 5 Mbps. These devices are configured using the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) to support full functionality. The TCAN114x-Q1 supports nominal processor IO voltages from 1.8V to 5V by applying the appropriate voltage to the VIO pin, allowing the use of low power processors.

The TCAN1146DRQ1 transceiver supports a selective wake-up feature (the ability to wake up based on the WUF flag). This feature allows the system to be locally networked and run with fewer nodes active while the rest of the nodes are in a low-power sleep mode. The transceiver and the selective wake-up feature conform to the specifications of the ISO 11898-2:2016 standard.
