The MAX9140AAXK is a single high-speed comparator optimised for use in systems supplied from a 3V or 5V power supply.

The input common-mode ranges of the devices are all allowed to extend beyond the supply range. The outputs can be pulled to within 0.3V of both supplies and require no external pull-up circuitry, making them particularly well suited for interfacing to CMOS and TTL logic. All input and output pins can withstand fault conditions with a continuous short to either supply. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output state switching even when the input signal changes slowly.
