The LTM4652IY is a source current/suction current dual channel ±25A or single channel ±50A output switch mode step-down DC/DC μModule® (miniature module) regulator with ±1.5% total DC output error. The package contains the switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductors and all supporting components. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V, the LTM4652IY supports two outputs with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 7.5V, each output being set via a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design provides up to ±25A continuous current per output. Only a few input and output capacitors are required. When powering FPGAs, ASICs and processors, the adjustable control loop supports fast transient response, thus minimising output capacitance.
Fault protection features include input and output overvoltage and bi-directional overcurrent protection. the LTM4652IY is available in a 16mm × 16mm × 4.92mm BGA package.
