The LTC4381ADKE-3 is an integrated solution for low quiescent current eFuse featuring an internal 9mΩ N-channel MOSFET. overvoltage protection is provided by clamping the gate voltage of the internal 9mΩ N-channel MOSFET to limit the output voltage to a safe value during an overvoltage event, such as a sudden drop in automotive loads. the MOSFET's safe operating region has been production tested to ensure that it can withstand high voltage transient stresses. Fixed output clamp voltages for 12V and 24V/28V systems are available. For any system up to 80V, an adjustable clamp version is used.

Overcurrent protection is also provided. An internal multiplier generates a TMR pin current proportional to VDS and ID to limit the operating time under overcurrent and overvoltage conditions based on MOSFET stress.

The GATE pin drives back-to-back MOSFETs for reverse input protection, eliminating the voltage drop and power consumption of Schottky diode solutions. 6µA low operating current feature is suitable for always-on and battery-powered applications.
