The LTC2986ILX-1 measures a wide range of temperature sensors and digitally outputs the results (in °C or °F) with 0.1°C accuracy and 0.001°C resolution.The LTC2986 can measure the temperature of virtually any standard (Types B, E, J, K, N, S, R, and T) or custom thermocouple, automatically compensating for the cold end temperature and linearising the results. The device can also measure temperature using standard 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTDs, thermistors, and diodes.The LTC2986ILX-1 includes an excitation current source and fault detection circuitry for each temperature sensor.
