The AD8496CRMZ are precision instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensators. They produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from the thermocouple. Combined with a freezing point reference and a pre-calibrated amplifier, they produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from the thermocouple signal. They can be used as either stand-alone thermometers or as switched output set point controllers. They can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V), powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V), and can measure temperatures below 0°C with an offset reference voltage. Temperatures below 0°C can be measured with an offset reference input.
