NRF8001-R2Q32-R7 is a Bluetooth® low energy solution designed for operation in the peripheral role. By integrating a Bluetooth low energy compliant radio (PHY), slave mode link controller, and host, nRF8001 offers you an easy way to add Bluetooth low energy connectivity to your application. 

NRF8001-R2Q32-R7 offers a serial interface (ACI) for configuration and control from your microcontroller. This microcontroller will in the remainder of this document be referred to as the application controller.
