The TPS79333DBVRQ1 low dropout (LDO) low power linear regulator features a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultra-low noise, fast start-up, and excellent line and load transient response in a small out-of-line SOT-23 package.
Each TPS793-Q1 device in the series is stable and has a small 2.2 µF ceramic capacitor at the output. the TPS793xx-Q1 series uses an advanced proprietary BiCMOS manufacturing process to produce extremely low dropout voltages (e.g., 112 mV at 200 mA for the TPS79330-Q1). Each device achieves a fast start-up time (approximately 50 µs with a 0.001 µF bypass capacitor) while consuming extremely low quiescent current (170 µA typical). In addition, when the device is placed in standby mode, the supply current drops below 1 µA. The TPS79328-Q1 exhibits an output voltage noise of approximately 32 µVRMS when using a 0.1 µF bypass capacitor. Applications employing noise-sensitive analog components, such as portable RF electronics, will benefit from the high PSRR and low noise characteristics, as well as the fast response time.
